SAN FRANCISCO—While sourcing manufactured goods from China can still provide U.S. businesses with healthy margins, the risk involved is ramping up substantially, said Saji Daniel, president and CEO of Tradex International Inc., the largest supplier of general purpose disposable gloves in the United States.
“Maintaining transparent relationships with manufacturing facilities is crucial to ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery of product,” he said, “but this can be difficult due to the language barrier that still exists.”
In an exclusive interview with LM, Daniel said that “the lingering communistic political environment” can also create hurdles with property rights and other freedoms taken for granted in the U.S.

一 网络
大家都懂得这个词，我这里的网络不是指电脑网络，综观中国的企业，没有几家在全国各地都有自己的销售网点，他们大多数都是依靠一些代理公司，这样就产生了至少三个级别的代理商。在无形中给物品增加了成本，到消费者手里的时候已高出出厂价很多。有很多公司也有自己的物流部，可那不是全面的物流，并且成本消耗也很大。物流构成包括商品的运输、仓储、包装、搬运装卸、流通加工，以及相关的物流信息等环节，现代物流不仅单纯的考虑从生产者到消费者的货物配送问题，而且还考虑从供应商到生产者对原材料的采购，以及生产者本身在产品制造过程中的运输、保管和信息等各个方面，全面地、综合性地提高经济效益和效率的问题。因此，现代物流是以满足消费者的需求为目标，把制造、运输、销售等市场情况统一起来考虑的一种战略措施。这与传统物流把它仅看作是"后勤保障系统"和"销售活动中起桥梁作用"的概念相比，在深度和广度上又有了进一步的含义

Tianjin, a major port and the gateway to Beijing, is working to clean the air for this summer’s Olympics in neighboring Beijing. The city’s Daily News said Tianjin plans to adopt an even, odd vehicle number plate system that will allow only half of all cars to be on the streets on the same day and will also ban construction work on sites close to Olympic venues.
